My professional career began at a full-service commercial art studio. Working with veteran studio photographers I traveled on photo assignments for corporate art directors and graphic designers. Once, on location in Alaska, we trekked a glacier to photograph company personnel using snowmobiles to service remote customer outposts. In 1983 I remodeled a 100 year old former church building and launched my photography studio. The studio was distinct with a food styling kitchen, processing lab, and a catwalk over a curved-wall “cyclorama”.

Assignments illustrating computer technology, food packaging and executive portraiture became part of my photographic range. Clients including General Foods, IBM, Colgate and GE depend on good lighting, view camera technique, and printmaking. I was fortunate to work with a number of very skillful artists and designers. I am grateful for the experience and opportunity they extended to me.

Today, based year round in Vineyard Haven Massachusetts, I continue photography with an emphasis on the island's creative community. Artists and galleries rely on a meticulous approach to shooting art, digitizing existing images and printing large format museum-quality prints. With advanced digital photography equipment to produce high-resolution images, the studio specializes in fine art reproduction, photo-technical support and commissioned work for editorial and advertising.
